The website is very attractive. I like it a lot as a streaming search website. The landing page is very well designed and fits its purpose well. What's On Netflix borrows from its namesake, Netflix. It recreates the iconic red and black theme. The fonts are styled like Netflix, so it looks a lot like the real thing.
Another great thing about What's On Netflix is their ad usage. They run ads very rarely, and when you do encounter them, they're not terrible. After scrolling down their main menu I only found one ad in the sidebar.
The sidebar is a great addition to the website design. It runs ads, as well as pushes articles from the site. The ads blend in well with the actual site content, which is a very strategic design.
The website's layout is awesome, and it looks like Netflix's classic design without blatantly copying it. There's a collage of featured articles at the main top. As readers scroll, more content appears in a different layout that keeps them entertained.

I haven't found any fault with the desktop version of this website. The branding is great, website design is awesome, and there are plenty of features to keep readers engaged.
There is no app store app for mobile browsing. It would be great if there was one, but the mobile browsing experience is just fine. The text is slightly smaller than I prefer, but it's still readable. The articles and features are squished together more so than on the desktop view, but that's not a big deal.
Positives

The website rarely uses backlinks in their articles, but it isn't a necessity for them. The articles are typically listed in a list-based format, which makes for smooth reading and easy skimming. The related article links are thoughtful, according to the article they are placed within.
The good news is that the website isn't partnered with Netflix. This means we're getting real, undiluted content from What's On Netflix. Real people write the articles without featuring what Netflix wants them to feature. They have their own opinions and express them frequently.
Some people might not like the large amount of clutter on the main menu of What?s On Netflix. The website's sub-categories, though, are well organized and even better. I have few complaints about What's On Netflix. There are a few things they could improve, but overall the website is near perfect.
But they could be a little more subtle.
Ultimately, I hope this website will continue to grow in size and scope. The main focus right now is Netflix, but I would love to see the creators expand their focus to include websites for each of the competing streaming services. Another improvement that I think would be great is a decrease in the use of backlinks. They're helpful, but they could be less conspicuous and easier to track down.
It's unfortunate that the website does not have an app. The content could translate to an app pretty well. It might even be beneficial to have an easier way to access it on mobile. The mobile browser version is not up to par with the desktop version. Advertisements are also worse on the mobile browser version.
Improvements Needed
There are few suggestions I could offer to WHat?s on Netflix. One suggestion would be to create a mobile app. This could tremendously increase traffic on the website. If this is not an option, slightly improving the mobile browser would be good too.
Creating sister websites that compete with other streaming websites for viewers would be a great addition. It would bring in even more viewers and there is definitely a need for them. I could see one doing well.
