There are many free streaming sites out there, but not all of them are safe or legal. Some of them have a reputation for being sketchy and unsafe to use. Are free streaming sites and free streaming apps safe? Are they legal? Will you get into trouble for using them? Arrested? Sued by movie and TV production companies?

Unless movie production companies have bigger things to worry about, they probably won't go after someone streaming or torrenting their content for free online. Usually, it's the website or person responsible for providing the content that gets sued or charged, not the person streaming it. That being said, it's not completely unheard of for this to happen. In most parts of the world, though, streaming content without paying for it is legal. The person hosting the stream is the one who's breaking copyright laws.
I still generally recommend to anyone who is considering getting into the world of free movie and TV streaming apps to find a decent VPN. This is the first line of defense you will want to protect yourself with, not only when streaming or downloading movies and shows for free online, but really just for doing anything on the internet. No matter what, you are never 100% safe online if your IP address and activity is visible. A VPN takes care of this issue for you.

With a good VPN software, you will become invisible on the internet. Nobody will be able to track your online activity or see where you are or what you are doing online. Not a hacker, not your internet service provider, not even the government. VPNs can also be a brilliant way to get around firewalls, including those instituted by even the most despotic governments. Crack open a freed and liberated internet without the worry of getting in trouble with a VPN. You can do your homework on VPN programs and apps in the VPN section of StreamingSites.co.uk.
But by using a VPN, strong ad-block extension, and antivirus software, you at least can lessen the chances of that happening. So go forth and stream without fear!

But let's not forget that life is too short to not stream movies and TV shows for free. The only problem is that there are relatively few apps that allow you to do this conveniently from your smartphone or tablet. What should you do if you want to take your free streaming with you on the go?
If you're looking for a good way to watch streaming content without spending any money, you've come to the right place. Most of the free streaming apps I've seen are a little less sketchy than some of the pay sites, and they tend to be more user-friendly too. But that's just my opinion - what do you think?
I've been testing out the freeShow Box streaming app and overall I think it's a pretty good option. The app is easy to use, with a lots of content to choose from. The quality of the videos is generally good, although there are some that don't look as great as others. Another thing to consider is the app's downloading process - it's not always the easiest thing to do.
So, without further ado, why don't we just dive right in and find out if Show Box is worth your time and energy, eh?
Design
A show box app that was once one of the most popular on the Google Play store has since been discontinued. The app is not currently available on the Apple App Store either, but it is designed well. I have found few well-designed streaming apps in comparison and spend a lot of time looking for them.
This is far from the case for Show Box, which has a sleek, professional looking interface. It looks like it could be a premium streaming app, but it's unfortunately not available on any of the official stores. The app has a very smooth and familiar interface, making it one of the most intuitive apps available.
Content
Show Box is a great app for finding movies and TV shows. It draws from many different sources, including free streaming sites and torrents, so you're sure to find whatever you're looking for.
One gripe I do have with Show Box is that you have to play all files through a 3rd party media player app. Something like VLC Media Player will suffice. VLC is not a bad app to have (it is also free) anyway, but, still, I would prefer it if Show Box made things easier by embedding a halfway decent media player into the app itself. But that's kind of the name of the game with Show Box--nothing about this free streaming app is easy.
Devices and Download
This is where things get tricky. And for me, this app starts to lose points because it is not necessarily Show Box's fault that Google and Apple took the app off of their app stores. It's still annoying, though, that you now have to go through quite a bit of trouble in order to download Show Box onto your phone.
First, you'll need to go to Showbox-apk.mobi. From there, you will follow the 6-step process to get Show box from your computer to your phone. And, depending on your device, it may require you to download additional download manager apps. It can be done, but it's not very convenient. Considering the fact that many of the free streaming sites on my list are optimized pretty well for mobile viewing and offer just about the same content, it may make you wonder if downloading Show Box is truly worth all the unnecessary effort.
That being said, I think once you see Show Box's sleek and intuitive interface, you may decide that it is worth using. Besides, it's just a one-time deal, and then you have the convenience of easy streaming from a beautiful looking app on your mobile device forever.
Suggestions that I have for Show Box
I don't know if there's an easy way to make people download the app on their phones, but I guess we'll just have to do what we can.
Second, I would love to see a day when the app is updated to include its own media player. That would really push this app over the edge and towards becoming possibly the best free streaming app out there. If Show Box had an awesome in-app media player, it would be game over. It would definitely be worth the lengthy and annoying download process.
