Real Betis Balompie Seville
Beticos are Real Betis Balompié supporters and they have a long history with this team. As well as their love of football, the Beticanos also adore wine grapes, just like Andalusia, which shares much in common with its regional colours: Green fields on hills covered in white vines make up what could be called the 'Wine Map of Spain', the club's motto translates from Spanish as "Through Unity We Achieve Progress"; this not only applies to sport, but also to life in general!
The 55,000-seat Estadio Benito Villamarín is owned by Betis and is located in the Heliópolis district of Madrid. The club's crest features two large 'B' letters - these stand for Balompié, which means Ballo Footbal (soccer). A crown can be seen in Spanish writing above these initials, which explains why they were added to the name Real, meaning "royal" or "kings". Your arch-rival is FC Sevilla; their famous derby was colloquially called derbi sevillano.
The club have a long history of success in Spain, having won a league and two cup finals to date.
