Since the 1990s, superhero movies have become a popular part of the movie industry. Studios take advantage of this by making adaptations that can generate over $100 million in revenue. This is based on factors such as if people enjoyed the content or not. Because most people grew up reading comics about the same characters, these movies often resonate with them.
We all love comics, and we're so happy that studios are giving us the chance to see a new superhero screenplay that is based on our favorite comic books. Since 1978, after the first Superman was released, 46 superhero films have managed to gross over 100 million dollars. That's not just luck or coincidence - it's proof that these movies are really good.
As an audience, we love these movies. That's why they have such a large fanbase. Today, Marvel and DC are known for their box office success, with either studio able to bring in over $500 million on each release. But today we're going to focus on DC Comics. Why? Because there's a popular community on Reddit called r/DC_Cinematic. But before we do so, if you're hearing the name for the first time, let me give you an overview of DC Comics.

DC Comics and Cinema Overview

DC Comics is an entertainment company with rich roots that has been an integral part of American pop culture since 1938. It owns some of the most endearing characters in the past century, which attracts a large pool of viewers to date. From the first Superman story in 1938, DC solidified its stance with the introduction of Batman (1939) and Wonder Woman (1941).
In 1969, Warner Brothers purchased DC Comics, and to this day, that hasn't changed. Recently, DC has lost its place as the cinematic universe powerhouse to Marvel, which was able to generate more than $11 billion in less than two decades. With their recent release - "Joker," DC is finding its feet yet again and is looking towards making a staggering comeback.

My recent experience on r/DC_Cinematic

My recent experience on r/DC_Cinematic was not great because it was tough to swallow. The user posted how DC made a huge error by firing Junkie XL so late in post-production and scrapped the already completed score. As much as I love Elfman, there's no denying that he would have to rush through his work, based upon the storyboards. So, yes, I kind of agree with the OP.
