Design
I like the grey background in the header section. There are seven different options - Web TV, Radio, Blog, Help, Privacy, DMCA and About. On the right side, you can find a search bar followed by two tiny logos of the UK and US which are placed there for language preferences.
Hero Section
The upper part of the hero section features an Android plug that allows you to download the OlWeb.tv app. The background color looks good and provides support for the header. Under that, there are two sections: one with a broader section with a search bar at the top, followed by several rows of recently added channels; and another with different categories. If you click on them, you'll be directed towards an inner page where you can then choose from a plethora of channels.
Body
This website's body section features a layout that is nearly identical to the layout in the hero section. It includes recently updated channels in different genres with more to come, as well as a country list on the right. You can choose any country and access the content from that region.
Footer
Just above the footer, you can find keywords that are only there as helpful hints. The footer, on the other hand, has eight different options - RSS feeds, bookmarks, site map, contact info, newsletter subscription, Facebook page, XML sitemap and contact info option. All of which are in white text on a dark grey background.
Inner Pages
When you select a channel and move towards the inner page, you'll see a window player towards the left with two options - Countries and Worldwide on top of those. You can even tweet or share this channel with your friends and family. Above that, there's the name of the channel and below the video player, there are over dozens of channels from the same niche.
Content
There's plenty of content on online Web TV. It's filled with sports, news, and entertainment channels. If you want to listen to radio stations, you can do so by clicking your country and finding the station you want to listen to. I have no complaints about the content, given that it's all free.
There are many news channels available, including MSNBC, Fox, Bloomberg, C-Span, CNN, BBC, and ABC. NBC Live is also a good option.
Entertainment channels are available on most televisions. They include Comedy Central, Destination America, History Channel, FX, TBS, MTV, OWN, and T&T & USA Network.
My favorite premium channels are HBO, Starz, Telemundo, NFL Network, Baseball Channel and FXX.
There are many different sports channels to choose from, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN HD, ESPN Mobile, Sky Sports, Star Sports, Ten Action, Gol TV, NFL Network and HBO Boxing.
Desktop/Mobile experience
I streamed OlWeb.tv from my HP laptop and iPhone XR. I like the fact that the developers have made the website responsive. Thus, regardless of the screen size, you'll be able to see every element that you would generally find on the website. The quality of streaming was above average and fewer ads meant that I could get to the meat even quicker. I don't like how the website looks overall, but I think adding a homepage banner and new ways to sort the content would make it more user-friendly.
