Real Club Deportivo Mallorca is one of the most historic football clubs in Spain. Founded on March 5th, 1916, it has a rich history dating back to before WWI when players still played with their feet instead of their hands! There are a lot of different people playing for the club these days, such as farmers or fishermen who are just as passionate about what's going on here near Palma's port area - these guys know how important every game is because without our team there would be not much else, right? A great one.

The Mallorcan team is one of the most well-known football clubs in all of Spain and their home stadium, Estadio Lluís Sitjar (formerly Iberostar Estadi), has been a fixture for local fans since it opened. The stadium currently seats 23,000 spectators but will soon be expanded to accommodate another 6,000 once construction is complete this summer!

The club had some great successes in international competitions, most notably twice reaching the final of the biggest European Cup Winners' Cup - once under the guidance of Paolo Maldini as a star player. Their best result at national level came in La Liga, where they lost 1-0 to Bilbao after leading 2-0 in extra time (Smith 2003) This feat was well worth it because losing would be too much Good ones considering how close the RCD squad is at this moment.
