As a kid, I loved going to Blockbuster. Whenever my grandfather proposed going there to rent movies or games on Saturdays or Sundays, I would light up. Everything about going to Blockbuster was fun. It's truly sad that kids born after 2010 won't ever experience the joys of going there, picking out a couple movies, and then bringing those movies home to watch with friends and family.

Don't expect to go to Blockbuster to rent or buy movies that have just come out- although if you wait a little while upon release, there is a good chance it will show up here (as was always the case with Blockbuster).

Blockbuster appears to have adapted well to the 21st century model of movie rentals.
