This streaming service is very popular, and it has its own fanbase which is known throughout the world. Before we get started, I want to make sure you don't confuse 123Movies with Movies123- they are two different sites.
The craze for free streaming
The reason a majority of the people are inclined to such free streaming websites is that they get access to any type of content, no matter where it is from. All you need is a decent internet connection - preferably Wi-Fi.
123Movies doesn't require you to sign-in and there are no pop-ups in your face while streaming content. You can stream any content you want without having to sign-in and that's the beauty about it. 90% of the streaming websites have annoying ad prompts forcing you to sign-up but that's not the case with this website. Sure, there are ads on the website and while you're streaming, but there're no forceful pop-ups that you can't cancel.

123Movies is a great platform for streaming content online. You can watch popular movies and videos from around the web. The 123Movies? interface is very similar to the FlixTor?s interface. There is a light blue background with a teal color combination across the website. As soon as you visit the homepage, you can see that the publisher is hungry because you can see native blog advertisements right below the header. Despite that not being a huge problem, everything that matters is either below or above that. In the head section, you'll find options such as Movies, 2019 Movies, TV-Series, New Episodes, Genres, Year, Country, Stars, and Directors - an entire diversification listed in category format.

Many people find this website very popular and there are many pages about the movies app. I haven't tried it because I can't risk my device, but I've read reviews that the app is safe and you can stream the content right from your television or tablet via Roku or Kodi. That's a tempting affair, but still not convincing. A lot of it is due to my reluctance towards the fake apps and malware.
Suggestions I have for 123Movies
I like what 123Movies is offering. If they could just reduce the number of ads and make streaming safer, that would make the website even more amazing. Apart from the general built-in player, it would be great if it supported other players such as VLC.
Conclusion
Unless you're using a VPN, I wouldn't recommend streaming content on 123Movies. I think it's not worth risking your device by neglecting VPN.
